From Software set October as the release window for Armored Core V in Japan, but before that there will be a closed beta. Armored Core V has players battle over online territory where the war continues as long as your console is connected online.
Famitsu’s report also outlined a variety of boost options. By using a Glide Boost you can dash in all directions. With the right leg parts, a Boost Charge lets you dash-kick another mech. Hi-boost is a speedier short distance dash. Players can also jump and boost forward, which means there is triangular movement in Armored Core V. Armored Core V also has stances such as a weapon shift and purge stance mentioned in the magazine.
Namco Bandai will handle Armored Core V in North America and have the game slated for early 2012.
