BlazBlue has been a huge hit for Arc System Works, but what about their flagship fighting series Guilty Gear? Daisuke Ishiwatari, creator of Guilty Gear, tells Siliconera he visited Europe to attend the World Game Cup at Cannes and the Arc System Clash in London. Guilty Gear tournaments were held at both events and Ishiwatari was glad to see fans were still passionate about the series.

So, how about a new Guilty Gear then? I asked Ishiwatari that question during an interview. "Let’s just say that you won’t be disappointed," Ishiwatari replied. "When that new Guilty Gear will come? I honestly don’t know – not because I can’t tell you, but because I really don’t know – but it will happen eventually!"

That statement is not counting Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus, which Europe will get on PSP and Wii this Friday. We’ll have more from Ishiwatari on Guilty Gear, Arcana Heart 3, and BlazBlue throughout the week.
