Atlus, Aksys, and NIS America already announced games for the Nintendo 3DS. Xseed hasn’t outlined any plans, but they are looking into licensing Nintendo 3DS software.
A representative on Xseed’s Facebook page wrote, "The 3DS is a slick piece of hardware, we are definitely looking into some 3DS games that some quality developers are working on."
Recently, Xseed and The Legend of Heroes developer Falcom have been close. However, Falcom have not said if they are working with the Nintendo 3DS or not. Instead of working with the Nintendo DS, Falcom gave Interchannel a license to remake Ys I & II for the system. Even though Cubic Ninja is a title from Xseed’s parent company, AQ Interactive, Ubisoft is publishing it overseas.
You know Acquire and Xseed just started to work together. Xseed picked up Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls and Acquire has a 3DS game in development. Class of Heroes 3D (pictured) is slated for release in Japan this July. Way back at Game Developer’s Conference, Acquire was looking to license Class of Heroes 3D for North America.
