Final Fantasy VI Moogle Slamming Virtual Console In North America

Japan already has Final Fantasy VI on Virtual Console and next week the slam-dancing moogle Mog will appear on PlayStation Network. What about North America? Don’t worry, Final Fantasy VI is coming to Virtual Console under its original name in the States, Final Fantasy III.

The ESRB inspected Final Fantasy III and spoiled key events like "a jailed character getting punched and a woman throwing herself off a cliff." Yep, that sounds like Final Fantasy VI… um… Final Fantasy III, the one that doesn’t have Onion Knights.

A release date has not been announced, but since Final Fantasy III was rated for Wii it should appear on Virtual Console in the near future.
