As promised, Shinji Hashimoto updated us on what’s going on with the PlayStation Network version of Chrono Cross. Hashimoto lamented on Twitter there were many hurdles, but thanks to assistance from Sony Computer Entertainment the game is primed for a digital re-release.

Here’s another video of the PsOne game’s opening running on a PSP. A release date was not announced, but Hashimoto usually tweets a date shortly after sharing clips like these.
