Dungeon Siege III Delayed, Crawls Into Stores A Month Later

Square Enix pushed Dungeon Siege III’s release date back about a month from May 31 to June 21.

“Although the final polish phase has demanded a bit more time than originally planned, we want to assure fans and followers that the additional effort will allow us to deliver an action-RPG worthy of its rich heritage,” Mike Fischer, President and CEO of Square Enix Inc., said regarding the delay.

 

Dungeon Siege is now a Square Enix owned series and Obsidian Entertainment was hired to revive the series. For cooperative play Obsidian Entertainment took some cues from the Lego video games and they made a gun wielding vixen one of the four playable characters.
