Grasshopper Manufacturer have a new iPhone game out, and it involves catching frogs.
That’s a screen of different kinds of insects hiding in the grassy environment, which you need to catch as your first step toward building up your frog collection. These insects serve as frog food.
You can also look through the leaves and grass to find frogs hiding around. When frogs appear, you’ll be able to see what kind of insect they’re hungry for. If you feed them the right kind of food within the time limit and make them full, you’ll get to catch them.
That’s the premise Frog Minutes in a nutshell. Grasshopper say the game comes with a variety of frogs, such as the Japanese Tree Frog, the Horned Frog, the Giant Monkey Frog, the Blue Poison Dart Frog, the Pearl-Eyed Frog, Painted Mantella and more. Once you’ve caught a species of frog, you can learn about it in your encyclopedia (Frogdex?).
Grasshopper say the encyclopedia is fully-voiced, and that you can also use it to listen to the croaks of the different frogs you catch. Frog Minutes costs $0.99 on the iTunes App Store.
Food for thought:
Why frogs and not grasshoppers?
