Stretch Armstrong… The Video Game?

Stretch Armstrong, his canine sidekick Fetch Armstrong, a gooey green monster, and two stretch octopi were all the rage in the late 70s. Corn syrup action figures were a genius idea three decades ago.

These days Stretch Armstrong is a distant memory, but Mattel might give the bendable hero… a video game. Mattel filed a trademark for Stretch Armstrong specifically for use with computer software and videogames.

Our guess is this will be a tie-in for the upcoming Stretch Armstrong movie. We’re curious to see who’s going to develop the game and if it will be anything like Bionic Commando with elastic arms replacing Nathan’s bionic arm.
