Konami are rolling out two new LovePlus arcade games in the near future, both of which will be exhibited at the upcoming AOU 2011 Amusement Expo from Feb 18th through 19th. Let’s take a look at what they’re like.
LovePlus Arcade ColorfulClip:
This is an arcade game that offers a variety of minigames that play out like a date with your LovePlus girlfriend, with activities like Suikawari and Daruma-san ga Koronda.
While you’re out on date, you can snap pictures of your LovePlus girlfriend as if you were actually out together. The machine also comes with a built-in printer that lets you print out and take a commemorative postcard with you as a memory of your date.
LovePlus Medal Happy Daily Life:
LovePlus Medal Happy Daily Life combines puzzle and board game elements. While you play the game, you’ll have a 3D image of a LovePlus girl in the corner of the screen. To quote Konami, “directly touching the 3D character elicits a plethora of reactions, allowing players to enjoy a fresh scope of interaction like never before.” You’ll also be able to converse with her.
Both LovePlus arcade games are compatible with the current LovePlus on Nintendo DS, and will also be compatible with Project LovePlus on the 3DS. Konami say the connectivity features will allow you to “continue some of your dates” on the DS devices.
LovePlus Arcade ColorfulClip and LovePlus Medal Happy Daily Life are slated to launch in Japanese arcades in late February. Below are pictures of the two arcade cabinets, with Arcade Colorful Clip on the left and Medal Happy Daily Life on the right.
