Japanese sales tracker Media-Create have published a list of the top-selling games from November 30th, 2009 – November 28th, 2010 in Japan (narrowly missing the release of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, which released three days later).

Unsurprisingly, Pokémon Black / White took the #1 spot on the chart, followed by New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Total sales take a dive from #3 onward, with Final Fantasy XIII selling close to 2 million copies.

Nothing on the list is particularly surprising, but it is interesting how Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage and Yakuza 4 weren’t all that far apart from each other. With Yakuza: Of the End slated for a March release, we’re curious to see how that game does.

The original God Eater appears to have done well for itself, too, and was the second best-selling new franchise for the period. Tomodachi Collection, also new, released in Japan in mid-2009, and consistent sales drove it to be the top-selling new franchise overall if you ignore the fact that it released months prior to the tracking period.
