Back in August, director Hajime Tabata disappointed some Japanese bloggers by saying there wouldn’t be a shower scene in The 3rd Birthday. Tabata’s reason was logical enough, there wasn’t a place to put it in.

The shower scene demand stems back to Parasite Eve II, which introduced a steamy video to the series.
