Atlus really modernized the battle interface with useful additions like a turn order and emotion gauge during demon negotiation. The character portraits make Persona 2: Innocent Sin feel more like the later Persona games too. Also during combat, Persona 2: Innocent Sin has cut-in screens when you use sync skills, a feature not in the PsOne release.

While Atlus updated Persona 2: Innocent Sin for PSP, the game has an option to play through the game with the original music and opening movie. Persona 2: Innocent Sin is slated for a winter release in Japan.
