“Internally it had been documented as a Wii Game, a DS Game and finally a Digital Download game,” Peter Dassenko, Producer, revealed. “So the version you’re playing (or will play) is a combination of many different ideas from each of the platforms we’d made a design document for.”

Even on the original design document Bonk: Brink of Extinction was set as a 3D game. Hudson planned Wii and DS specific controls, but these were scrapped since Bonk: Brink of Extinction is a now multiplatform title.
