Info on the No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle Hopper’s Edition is still scarce, but Grasshopper Manufacture let on to a few additional details in their latest podcast (#3).

The NMH 1.5 movie, for instance, is set between the first and second games, and is meant to bridge the gap between the two. Suda only finished the writing the script for the movie a few weeks prior, and the entire affair is hush-hush enough that not many people at GhM appear to know what the movie is about.

Whether or not the movie will be produced anime style or using the No More Heroes cinematic style is uncertain, too. What was let on, however, is that the company that handles all of Grasshopper’s movie work is producing No More Heroes 1.5 as well.

Details on the fan book are sketchy, too, as it was a project pitched entirely by Marvelous, so they’re the ones taking care of it. And finally, the guys over at GhM actually gave a shout-out to two of our readers — Code and gatotsu911 — in the episode! Congratulations!

A huge thanks to Matty for bringing this up on our Facebook group!
