Faceless monsters know as the Twisted have taken over New York City in The 3rd Birthday. Aya, armed to the teeth with guns and grenades, heads to the streets to stop them.

While you control Aya, she can control other characters on the battlefield. Using the overdive system, Aya transfers her consciousness into NPCs, which transform into her after she dives in. Diving is a key feature of The 3rd Birthday. You have to use this to move from one point to the next and, at times, escape from boss monsters.

The 3rd Birthday is scheduled to come out this winter in Japan.
