Pac-Chain Sounds Like An Unannounced Pac-Man Project

In less than two weeks, Namco Bandai will unveil a brand new Pac-Man project with Avi Arad. Could it be… Pac-Chain?

Namco Bandai trademarked the term in Europe for use with video games and coin-operated arcade machines. Don’t take that as confirmation that another Pac-Man game is coming to arcades. Namco Bandai already has Pac-Man Battle Royale in the works. The arcade bit is just interesting to note because other Pac-Man trademarks, like the ones we found for Pac-Man Kart Rally and Pac-Man Pizza Parlor, did not have that caveat.

I still can’t imagine what Pac-Chain could be. Pac-Snake or Pac-Tris come to mind, but the latter one has been done before.
