Will Penguin Life Be Nintendo’s Next Animal Sim?

Nintendogs, to the chagrin of some Nintendo fans, was a smash hit. Famitsu awarded Miyamoto’s game with a perfect score and Nintendogs sold millions of copies worldwide.

Surprisingly, Nintendo never made the obvious follow up — Nintencats. Maybe they’re saving it for another console or developing a pet simulation with an arctic animal instead.

Nintendo trademarked Penguin Seikatsu or Penguin Life in Japan for use with video games and other related items. So, Nintendo is probably working on some kind of penguin game, but what will it be for? Nintendo DS, Wii, or the Nintendo 3DS?
