Telltale Games is bringing Sam & Max to a new console. The third season of Sam & Max titled, Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse, is being made for PlayStation 3.
While Telltale has yet to announce Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse, the ESRB divulged details about Episode 1: The Penal Zone when they rated it E 10+.
The ESRB description was removed under Telltale’s request.
The ESRB rated a single episode so it’s safe to say Telltale will stick to an episodic format for The Devil’s Playhouse. Given the subtitle, Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse appears to pick up right where Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space left off with the detective duo dealing with the Devil.
Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse will be the first Sam & Max series for PS3. Will Telltale release ports of past episodes on PSN? Is Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse in development for other platforms too? We’ll have to wait for an official announcement to find out.
