Zepy over at Canned Dogs happened upon an interesting post on the Kojima Productions blog, and wrote up a handy translation. It seems Hideo Kojima was lucky enough to enjoy a meal with Type-Moon earlier in the week, and get their autographs, too. Kojima writes on the KojiPro blog:
Yesterday, introduced via Ishii Jirou from Chunsoft, I managed to get a chance to have a meal with the two gentlemen from TYPE-MOON, Nasu Kinoko and Takeuchi Takashi.
The meeting only lasted for a short while, but the meeting was pure enjoyment and I have not had something like that in a while.
It was the first time we met but I felt like we had already known each other for a long time, I felt a kind of affinity that was like deja vu.
It’s a special privilege that only creators have. Even when age or race are completely different, we can still understand each other instantly when we have the same “smell”.
You know, love clearly bloomed on the battlefield in Fate/Stay Night, so perhaps they aren’t so different, like Kojima says. (Last time I use that joke, sorry.) You can read the rest of the post on Zepy’s blog.
