Pop ‘n Music Portable’s Nine Key Control Scheme Explained

Pop ‘n Music Portable has three play modes: five button, seven button, and nine buttons for Pop ‘n Masters. The nine button configuration uses almost all of the PSP’s buttons by assigning yellow notes to L/R and the outermost keys to left on the D-pad / circle button. Looks… finger cramping.

In the board game style adventure mode you start with five buttons and advance into nine button mode. New songs can be unlocked here and whenever you clear a song you can listen to it in music player mode.
