Downloadable Manga Coming To PSP

Sometime this year Sony will start selling manga on the PlayStation Store. The announcement assures current PSP owners will be able download manga since it’s compatible with all PSP models. Specific titles and pricing were not announced.

Currently the news is just for Japan, but Sony could work with manga or comic book companies domestically.

Third parties offer similar services on the Wii and Nintendo DS. Sunsoft’s digital manga service is particularly interesting since it gives users an option to read manga with English subtitles even though it’s only out in Japan.
