Darius Twin And Metal Black Landing On Virtual Console?

Taito pledged to support Virtual Console Arcade. So far they only released Space Invaders, but more shoot ’em ups might be on their way!

In addition to filing a trademark for something related to Lost Magic, Taito also re-registered Darius Twin and Metal Black. Both titles are names of Taito shooters from the early ’90s. Darius Twin came out for the Super Nintendo and Metal Black was an arcade/Saturn title.

Taito didn’t re-register these trademarks with out a reason so I’m predicting two Virtual Console releases in the future. I’ll leave it to you (the readers) to figure out what Samurai Ninja is related to.
