Hudson’s financial briefing gave us an idea of what the house of Bomberman has planned for the next twelve months. Hudson will release five retail games on the Wii, five on the DS, and one PSP title. Only two Wii games and one DS game are scheduled for North America.
Part of Hudson’s plan is to branch existing franchises to other platforms. Deca Sports, for instance, is getting a DS version this year. Deca Sports: DS seems like a good candidate as the lone international DS game. Hudson also has a Beyblade game and a Momotaro Densetsu game in development for Wii. I wouldn’t count on either of those going international.
Hudson also has a slew of downloadable games. Six WiiWare games, four DSiWare downloads, two PlayStation Network titles, and two Xbox Live Arcade games – if you live in North America. For some strange reason Europe and Japan are not slated to get any Xbox Live Arcade releases. Military Madness: Nectaris was previously announced as an Xbox Live Arcade game.
The DSiWare games are interesting since Hudson already started development with a pack of Sudoku games in Japan. These titles have been rated in Germany under the name Sudoku 50! For Beginners and Sudoku 150! For Beginners.
