Atlus Brings Demon’s Souls Stateside

From Software’s PS3 exclusive RPG, Demon’s Souls, is coming to North America this fall care of Atlus. The game is being called the “ultimate hardcore RPG challenge” a statement I totally agree with.

I played Demon’s Souls before and it’s tough. I died… a lot. Demon’s Souls is really a perfect fit for Atlus, difficulty wise it’s the Shin Megami Tensei of action RPGs. Demon’s Souls also has a neat networking system where you can leave tips seen as bloodstains in other people’s games. You can also log on an play or slay another warrior exploring the cursed land of Boletaria.

I wonder how Atlus is handling the localization. Prior to the announcement Sony Computer Entertainment Asia translated Demon’s Souls into English. Note to self: ask Atlus about this and compatibility with the Asian version at E3.
