All Eyes On Sega’s Yakuza 3 Trailer

Sega really wants you to watch their Ryu Ga Gotoku 3 (Yakuza 3) trailer from. The video went up on Japan’s PlayStation Store, which is ordinary. It’s on Sega’s website too. Not much of surprise there. But, Sega went ahead and put it on the PSP PlayStation Store and on Sony’s PlayStation TV for stores to play.

So, I suppose we should watch it? I saw part of it at Tokyo Game Show and it’s unsurprisingly better to watch at home where you can actually hear the music. The graphics are fantastic, but it’s still unclear how Sega is going to refresh the combat system which was clunky in the PS2 games. Between now and spring 2009 when Yakuza 3 comes out Sega has ample time to release another video with actual gameplay footage.
