If you loitered around Square Enix’s Tokyo Game Show booth long enough you may have seen a Dragon Quest IX trailer which was sandwiched between clips of other Square Enix games not worthy enough to be shown in the Closed Mega theater. A shaky camera phone recording snuck out earlier in the week and this isn’t that clip. This is the real deal since Square Enix released the footage to the public earlier today. Too bad Dragon Quest IX wasn’t playable at TGS. The venue would have been a great place to publicly demonstrate the two to four player wireless battles. I suppose Square Enix has to save something for Jump Festa which takes place on December 20 in Japan.
