Your Alternatives To Mega Man 9 Are…

Mega Man 9 is out this week and the way Capcom is pushing it you probably already know this. If you aren’t swooning over a new 8-bit style game starring the Blue Bomber Nintendo has other games for you. Super Dodge Ball where Kunio-kun characters are replaced with “Team USA” and Vectorman, a pre-rendered 2D action game for the Sega Genesis, are your Virtual Console choices sold for 500 Wii Points ($5) and 800 Wii Points ($8) respectively. I would personally lean towards purchasing Vectorman if I didn’t already have it on the Sega Genesis Collection. PLÄTTCHEN twist ‘n’ paint gets the short end of the stick for being this week’s obscure game. Bplus’ game came out in Europe to less than favorable reviews when it was sold for 1,500 Wii Points ($15). Someone in management decided to reduce the price to 1,000 Wii Points ($10) in North America, which might make the self described “100 hours” of color/fruit/train shooting fun. (? PLÄTTCHEN twist ‘n’ paint sure looks confusing…)
