Speaking of Global A, Ohokuki finally came out. The PlayStation 2 game has been in development since 2006 and it's mostly remebered for being called an Edo period "harem sim". It actually plays more like an adventure game with a protagonist silently planning revenge. As a girl a young girl Tokiko's father was a scapegoat and was forced to commit ritual suicide. Years later Tokikio is a grown woman and part of the Shogun's harem as a servant by choice. It's up to the player to manipulate situations with the other women, move up the ranks, and eventually settle the score.
The setting is what differentiates Ohokuki and unfortunately for anyone interested a key reason why it’s unlikely to be localized. Have a look at what you’re missing in the clip below.
