Short story it’s a lot like shopping for Virtual Console titles.
After clicking on the WiiWare button in the center of the new shopping channel menu you’re whisked away to another set of options that should look familiar.
Just like Virtual Console shopping you can browse the most popular games, new titles, search by genre and publisher. Here’s an interesting note about the genre selection. You can actually browse which games have additional service fees, by selecting the Wi-Fi Connection Yuuryou Service genre.
Let’s see what’s new….
Like I mentioned before, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King has extra paid content as indicated by the red Nintendo Wi-Fi Yuuryou (Toll) Service stamp.
WiiWare games get their own channel and each one has simple introductions.
So how big are the WiiWare games? Well, I have three and my flash memory is pretty much shot. Here are the stats from smallest to largest out of my purchases.
Star Soldier R – 141 blocks
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As a King – 287 blocks
Saku Saku Animal Panic – 301 blocks
